Terms of use
These terms govern the use of the Elele app and website provided by Elele. By creating an account you accept them.
The service
Elele is software for keeping a community’s membership, dues, income and expenses, resolutions, mutual aid, tasks and communication records. Elele is not a bank, payment provider, accounting firm or legal adviser; it does not hold the community’s money and does not file official returns on the community’s behalf.
Your account and security
You must give accurate details when you create an account and never share your password. You are responsible for what is done with your account; if you notice unauthorised use, change your password and let us know.
Responsibilities of the community and its board
The people who create and run a community are responsible for the accuracy of its records, for processing members’ data lawfully (privacy notices and, where needed, explicit consent) and for the obligations that apply to their type of community (books, general assemblies, filings, fundraising permits and so on).
Records in Elele make these obligations easier; whether they replace official books, certification, filings or permits depends on the law that applies to the community.
Payments and donations
Dues and donations taken by card go straight to the community’s account through the payment provider. Payments are subject to the provider’s own terms; refunds, disputes and provider fees follow those terms.
Fees
Yes, you can start with Elele for free; setting up your community and inviting members costs nothing. Any change to pricing is announced in the app before it takes effect.
Unacceptable use
You may not use the app to:
- Share unlawful content, infringe other people’s rights or harass anyone.
- Collect or spread other people’s personal data without authority.
- Try to break the service’s security, access someone else’s account or disrupt the service.
- Mislead members or third parties with false financial records.
Content and rights
Content entered by the community and its members (records, posts, documents) belongs to them. Elele processes it only to provide the service. Rights in the software, the brand and the website belong to Elele.
Availability
We work to keep the service running without interruption; maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control may lead to short outages. The app keeps taking records without internet and syncs when the connection returns.
Closing an account or a community
You can delete your account from the app at any time. Before closing a community, the board can export its records. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously breach these terms, with prior notice. Records that must be kept by law are retained for the statutory period.
Limitation of liability
Elele does not verify that the community has entered its records correctly; a record is what the person entering it declared. To the extent permitted by law, Elele cannot be held liable for the consequences of the community’s own records and decisions.
Changes and governing law
When these terms change, the current text is published on this page; significant changes are announced in the app in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
